[Nolug] Starting a new distro war from Dave Prentice on 2004-03-17 (nolugarchives)

Hi y'all,
I just got a laptop (thanks Paul!) and want to have an xwindows
gui (I'm used to kde) with web browser, Open Office, powerpoint
viewer, and pdf viewer. Anything else is gravy. The laptop is a 166mhz
Pentium I and will have 96 meg RAM and 2 gig hard drive space. I'm
very used to Redhate, but willing to go with anything that will have
the above features. Considering the resource limitations, any
suggestions on which distro to install?
