I know someone that is looking for a "3'rd level support" person that can
hopefully also do PHP and Perl. This is for a company that does a spam
filtering network appliance. You would be working with FreeBSD-based
appliances. You should be familiar with mail routing and TCP/IP.

This is a real job, and they are looking now. You would work onsite in Baton
Rouge.

Coder Resume for 3rd level support and assist in interface development:

1. Knowledge of the FreeBSD/UNIX OS including some shell scripting.

2. In depth understanding of networking devices (Routers, Firewall,
etc). Basically he should be able to setup at least a basic firewall
rule, and debug problems with rules etc (Network Analyst). Must know
how to interface devices to a router / firewall (basically be able to
route traffic -- using rules)

3. Must understand TCP/IP well. Must be able to debug network problems.

4. Must understand SMTP RFC821 and RFC822 very well.

5. Basic understanding PHP / MYSQL programming. (need not be an expert
coder)

6. Of course be able to talk to customers.

7. Knowledge of POSTFIX (and other MTA's)
