Subject: [Nolug] Video capture from VCR to DV using a firewire or USB2
device

Hi,

Anyone know of a way to do such a thing? I've googled my fingers
off, but nothing looks really promising.

It needs to be an external device because my PC is SFF, and there's
no real room for a PCI video capture card.

(It's possible using a modern camcorder as an intermediary, but
I'd rather connect the VCR to the external device, run start up
a linux program, press the VCR's play button, and directly capture
the video. But since I don't have such a camcorder, that's not
even a work-around solution.)
