Thanks. Yes, I switched cables, slots, and even NICs, all with the same
result. I can take a few days to shop, as the D-Link still works; it's
just a nuisance. and tape is messy and not altogether dependable in such
situations. I'll keep the D-Link as an emergency spare but toss the Linksys.
