[Nolug] Diskette-loadable comm program

I have no CD capabilities in either Linux or Windows at present. I can
go on line in Linux on desktop or win on laptop with no CD or diskette
drive. I can only find two of the six Netscape diskettes I used 10 years
ago. What's the smallest comm program for win and how can I get it? I can
download in Linux (provide I get that machine to boot again--now stuck, will
put in separate message).
