You can reference the Outlook library in a stand-alone VB executable.
Then you'd have to schedule it as Kevin mentioned.
If Outlook will be running, a VB macro with a Timer may work. It can be
setup to start when Outlook starts, but it all depends on your
requirements and what the user wants. Also, what end result do you want
to accomplish? I can probably put together a VB macro that runs in
Outlook to export calendar fields. It should shed some light on how to
do this in VB.
