I am new to this list so please forgive me if this is not the appropriate
place to ask this question.
I work for Stirling Properties and I am researching converting my 400
windows work stations to Linux wherever possible. The servers and network
were already converted from Novell to Mandrake years ago. I recently set up
a box with Mandrake 10.1 and Crossover Office to see if I could access the
New Orleans Real Estate Board's MLS system. The MLS is operated by GEAC and
the board tells us that it will not run on anything except Internet
Explorer. I can run I.E. on crossover office, and most web sites display ok.
When I try to pull up the MLS, however (http://nom.mlxchange.com) I get a
blank page where the login page should be. Normally on a windows box, the
system downloads something to you on your first visit, and then I.E.
restarts and you can see the page. That does not happen with the Linux work
station. Has anyone on the list tried to do this before?
John,
