Have you talked to fellow NOLUG member John Souvestre at Southern Star
(www.sstar.com)? While h. uses BS's back office he can communicate with
them much better than the Fast Access people can. I had BS and it was
fine until I had my number changed because it was too similar to a
school's. Thereafter every time they had scheduled maintenance I was
dropped. The last time I hadn't been able to get back on for a week so I
switched to SS and have had no more trouble. Now that I'm about to move
to Baton Rouge I may have to go back to BS as John serves only 504 and 985.
