Does anyone know a number to call at Cox in order to get their tech
support heads out of their asses and a business service running reliably?
Charles any hints ? Preferably high enough in the food chain to get
something happening.....fast
I reported a problem with our Cox provided T1 line a *week* ago
Thursday. The problem is know, but no-one at cox even bothers to call
back. They keep promising at the tier 1 tech support that
someone/supervisor/whatnot is going to call me back on this issue. I've
even provided 2 cellphone numbers. Earlier this week some idiot also
decided to close the trouble ticket for some unknown reason.
The problem I'm having is with the Cox installed unit which turns
incoming T1 line into ethernet. The unit keeps locking up, and the only
way to get the connection established for the 5 domains on that line,
including one of the biggest departments at UNO, is to power recycle it.
Naturally I can not be at the office 24/7 to do that. The problem is not
just not having access to the servers in my office, but it will also
prevent our department from functioning.
Additionally, we have a client coming in town and they need DS-3 to
start with. I definitely have to start looking who can provide one with
tech support, and QoS. Right now Cox' points are not too high for that.
