    I'm not sure what a 'simple bridging connection is," as I have little network knowledge. I'm a retired database programmer anxious to get completely away from Microsoft. I programmed MS Access for several years in the Silicon Valley and have moved my personal databases to Delphi and have a copy of Kylix to migrate to when I get the ADSL up under Linux and get either PostgreSQL or MySQL to work for me. At any rate, whatever will let me most easily connect a single machine thru FastAccess is what I'm looking for. I have the SpeedTouch USB modem (external) supplied by BellSouth.
