I don't know that a USB based ADSL modem is going to work with Linux.
You need ethernet. and you'll need to configure PPP over Ethernet (ie
PPPoE). You can search google to see if anyone else is using this
bellsouth "speedtouch" usb modem with linux. Or perhaps someone
else on the list will chime in later with a similar setup.

I doubt it though. You need an ethernet DSL modem.
