I personally love Cpanel. We use it for our websites and our clients that run web hosting services use it. Usually.

Honestly, if you provide web hosting then Cpanel or something similar is a must-have if you want to sell to the mass market. And for me as an admin of our websites, well, it's also a must have. I'd rather point and click and change something in two steps instead of having to remember where flag XYZ is in file ABC.

In my opinion, it you are a seasoned admin, cPanel and other GUI products are
only going to make you frustrated and mad. Since I'm generally empowered to
make technical decisions for my clients, I discourage their use, and will at
times turn down work that requires such tools.
