Agreed. You will always have the freedom to run *BSD. Market share
only matters in as much as keeping up the current hardware and protocols
matter. Sometimes (SSH), *BSD has done a great job in this area.
If you're content with the hardware and software available to you now,
then all is good, *BSD probably won't be a problem.

Knee-jerk, religious pro-Linux attitudes are just as bad as knee-jerk,
religious anti-Microsoft attitudes so many in the free software world
