One of those Very Large enterprises happens the be the US Govt. The
defense dept uses VMS extensively and has contracts in place to make sure
DEC/Compaq/HP keeps VMS around for a long time.

I personally don't like using VMS, but we've had it around long enough for
me to know it is rock solid, *and* extremely secure. Two things you can't
say about Unix or NT... and i can respect that.
