Hi Ron.

Shoot me your phone number and I can tell for sure. Perhaps there is a
remote DSLAM in your neighborhood.

Bridged Encapsulation. It means that all you need is a "dumb" ADSL modem
because the data looks like it is coming from an EtherNet connection.

For anyone running a stand-alone router this shouldn't be a problem since
just about all of them have PPPoE built in. But if you are running a Linux
system as the router then you would need a PPPoE driver.

I also offer bridged connections, but at 1.5M/256K, not the new 3M/384K
speed.

Mmmm, that probably shoots me down right there.

What does "bridged" mean? Presumably it has something to do with
"regular Ethernet".

I remember "way back" that bridges and brouters were pretty
common in the Ethernet world, but haven't heard about them in
5+ years, Since Switches Took Over The World.
