I use vonage as well. As long as you have power and your ISP
has service then vonage works well. I don't see it being really
useful if you have DSL, because to have DSL you already have
a phone number. The benefit may be that with Vonage you get
free in country long distance, so if you make a LOT of calls
out of state or out of your calling area then there may be
benefit of adding vonage to your stack.
