I have, and I hope you never need it either. That was a big deal to me,
but I ultimately I convinced myself that since Vonage has a huge stake
in making this work. In the event you need 911 when the power or
internet is down, I would say the majority of people have cell phones as
good backups. If not, then you may want to stick with a landline if you
are afraid of the phone not being available when you need it.
