Ah yes, I remember those days! Except my 486 had a new $500 2x cd-rom
drive! And downloading all the floppies at 2400baud was just painful
haha. So I bought a slackware book that came with a CD! No floppies for
me haha. But then i couldn't install linux with only 4 megs of RAM. So i
saved up and bought a $200 8-meg SIMM. Kernel 1.2.8 was on the CD but i
quickly upgraded to 1.2.13...ah those were the days. :)
