Patches, by themselves, sitting alone by themselves in diff files,
are not the entire work.
The GPL, since it is concerned with *distribution*, allows the end
user to do whatever he wants with GPL'ed code, modify it as much as
he wants AS LONG AS HE DOES NOT REDISTRIBUTE IT.
