'sokay. I didn't think you were calling me liberal. Besides, people
have mistaken me for a liberal before. But I did want to point out
that you were using some divisive words.

My left-of-center friends have been surprised at my more conservative
beliefs on some issues.

I'm a firm believer in free will and free exercise of the will.

I believe the world would be a better place if people were responsible
for themselves and shared what they have freely. This probably
wouldn't end up in "equal distribution" but the distribution of goods
would be much more even than it is currently.

Debian provides a forum for people to exercises their free will for
the common good. So it could be seen as a small picture of what I
would desire for the rest of society. Those who are rich (in skill,
in this case) share freely with the less fortunate.

Good. This means that you can deal with people whose beliefs don't
toe the line.

Mark.
